Biographical sketches of Joseph Howell Way (1865-1927), physician, covering his early education; his teaching in the public schools of Buncombe County, North Carolina; his studies at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, and Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee; his services with the North Carolina State Board of Health; and his organization in 1923 of the section of Medical Reserve Corps at Asheville, a section of the North Carolina Medical Society.
